Annotate and review coding agent plans visually, share with your team, send feedback with one click.
Overview
Plannotator is an interactive plan review tool for AI coding agents like Claude Code and OpenCode. When an agent finishes planning, Plannotator opens a visual UI in the browser where you can annotate, mark up, and refine the plan before the agent proceeds with implementation.
Key Features
- Visual Plan Annotation โ Opens an in-browser UI to review AI agent plans with actions like delete, insert, replace, and comment, then approve or request changes with structured feedback.
- Code Review Mode โ The
/plannotator-reviewcommand lets you review git diffs with inline annotations, switch between diff views, and send feedback directly to the agent. - Image Annotation โ Attach and annotate images using pen, arrow, and circle tools to provide visual feedback alongside text comments.
- Note App Integration โ Auto-saves approved plans to Obsidian and Bear Notes for documentation and future reference.
- Multi-Agent Support โ Works with both Claude Code (via plugin marketplace) and OpenCode (via plugin config), with dedicated installation paths for each.
Who is this for?
Plannotator is for development teams using AI coding agents who want more control over the planning phase before code gets written. It is especially valuable for team collaboration, letting multiple people review and annotate agent plans before approving implementation.
