VibeIndex

Vibe Index collects skills, plugins, and MCP servers for vibe coding in real-time, organizing them by category with summaries. We sync with GitHub hourly to discover new resources and periodically clean up unmaintained ones.

Created to help readers of Vibe Coding with Claude Code put what they've learned into practice, and open for anyone starting their vibe coding journey.

Ranking Criteria

Ranking is determined by intra-category percentile normalization. Each resource is scored relative to its category β€” Skills by install count, MCP servers, Plugins, and Marketplaces by GitHub stars β€” then unified into a single cross-category ranking.

Description Criteria

Short descriptions are provided for resources with 25+ stars or downloads. Detailed descriptions (Overview, Key Features, Who is this for?) are added for resources that have appeared in the Vibe Ranking Top 500. All descriptions are written by Opus 4.6 based on GitHub source material.

Dead Link Cleanup

All listed resources are continuously monitored for availability. When a GitHub repository is deleted or made private, the first check flags it as a warning. If the link is still unreachable on the second check 1–2 days later, the resource is automatically removed.

Security Scanning

AI agent skills and MCP servers can contain hidden malicious code that executes when loaded by an AI. Vibe Index scans all registered resources to detect known malicious execution patterns, reverse shells, and prompt injection. Scan results are shown on each resource's detail page as follows:

Safe β€” No known malicious patterns detected
Caution β€” Suspicious patterns found, review recommended
Warning β€” High-risk patterns detected, use with caution
