Overview
AI Music is a Claude Code skill that generates and edits music tracks on RunComfy via the runcomfy CLI. It routes between two backends based on intent and budget: ElevenLabs for premium studio-grade vocals at $0.0083 per second, and ACE Step for budget-friendly instrumental and vocal generation at $0.0002 per second - a 27x cost difference. The skill supports four distinct routes: full track generation, inpainting (replacing a section within an existing track), outpainting (extending a track beyond its current length), and editing existing audio. ACE Step 1.5 supports vocals in 50+ languages.
Key Features
- Intent-based routing: Automatically selects between ElevenLabs (premium, studio-grade) and ACE Step (budget, open-weights) based on quality requirements and budget constraints
- Four generation routes: Full generation from scratch, inpainting to replace sections, outpainting to extend tracks, and editing to modify existing audio
- Structured lyrics format: Tag-based lyrics system with verse/chorus/bridge markers and vocal style tags for precise control over song structure
- Multilingual vocal support: ACE Step 1.5 generates vocals in 50+ languages including English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic
- 27x cost difference: Choose between $0.0083/s (ElevenLabs) for maximum quality or $0.0002/s (ACE Step) for high-volume production
